In the recesses of your mind
Does anybody on here do any online gambling?

Do the casinos that claim "98% winners" true?

I like stuff like scratchers, slots, and Keno. I don't get into the heavy stuff.
From what I have seen online, as far as advertisements go, Red Dog Casino is the "best" and "highest payout" casino online.

But I'm not able to get any information unless I sign up first, which isn't going to happen unless I get my information FIRST.

How much do you have to front up or bank roll to open an account?
Do people really win as much as the casinos advertise?
Can you delete your account at any time (in good standing).
What are the "catches" and "small print"?

I don't know much about it, and I don't know anyone that gambles online, so I thought I'd ask on here.

I do mate but it's not Casino games.

I only do football (soccer) game betting.

Even then I don't really bet to win money - as ridiculous at that sounds (but I'll explain)

I don't know if there's a name for it, but I do bets so that I'm happy either way.

For example my team Rangers in Scotland - if they're playing Celtic and Rangers are strong favourites (like they've been all year) I'll maybe throw down £100 on Celtic to win.

I don't want Celtic to win, but if they do I'm making maybe £300 back (£200 profit) and that softens the blow.

If Rangers win, I don't really care about the £100 because I'm ecstatic and it feels like I've just paid £100 to see my team win a massive game and give me a great night that night and a feel-good feeling all week.

That's an example of it but I tend to replicate it across a lot of games involving my team and teams I hate with a passion.

I've lost more than I've won but at peace with it because it's like laying down little insurance policies so that I never feel too down or bad after a bad result.

From those high bets, the betting site I use tends to give me free £5 bets for every £25 spent so I can then use those £5 bets to recoup - for example put £5 on 4 or 5 solid, stone-wall bankers - examples of this could be Bayern Munich at home to a team at the bottom of the league, Man City to also win at home to a team bottom of the league and repeat that 4/5 times and maybe only get £15 profit, but you've essentially clawed back £15 from the £25 in the first instance and your "feel good insurance policy bet" has only cost you £10 not £25 and you feel better about it all.

I know that sounds a bit mad and maybe I've not explained it correctly.

There's probably something wrong with me too - that's probably some severe OCD or something :laughing0301:

Damn. Is it actually legal in America now?
I was pretty good at Texas Hold'em when I used to play the free PokerStars.

Guess I have the same questions as you.

The US Department of Justice (DOJ) has chosen not to pursue the 2018 Wire Act opinion.

This does not mean online casino and poker games are now legal across the US. It does, however, allow US gaming and lottery operators to pursue legalizing these games in their respective states without fear of prosecution.

NJ Attorney General Gurbir Grewal said the DOJ should “lift the fog of ambiguity” over online gambling. New Jersey is asking the Biden Administration to declare online gambling legal

So I still don't know if I trust the sites yet and from what I see it still is illegal in my state of MN, even though that same state allows an 18 year old to blow all their money on the state sponsored lottery and tribal casinos.

I wouldn't trust them.

If you can use a pre-payed credit card with limited funds on it, playing might be worth a try.

I've checked, and as far as I can tell..........in Texas it's legal, as long as they don't have a physical location (which for some reason IS illegal, even though gambling is said to be legal in Texas now).

Even the Texas lottery has online gambling for their lottery tickets now, so you don't even need to leave your residence to buy your lottery tickets or scratch offs, unless you want the paper ticket itself.

Yeah, that's a real gamble..

I've checked a few of these places out. I'm not going into it blind, as it were. Thats why I want my questions answered before I sign up, IF I sign up. Some of these online places are based in Europe, some are from other places. Most of the "best" ones online are "certified" with the gambling associations that regulate such things all over the globe. I don't know if thats good or bad, I haven't seen any info on that yet.

Would it be nice to win a ton of money? Sure.

But I'm SUPER bored, stuck at home, work from home, having to deal with some medical issues until the Dr.s tell me I'm ok again.

I'm not looking to spend a ton of money or anything, just a few bucks here and there, on some games I find fun to play. If I lose all my money I put aside for this, then that will be the end of it.
As long as I'm winning some money, I will continue to play with my winnings......once it runs out, then I'm done.

I just want some basic information before I sign up with any online casino, but the casino's I find most attractive online.....you can't get into unless you sign up first. So far, it doesn't look like I will be gambling online, unless I go for the Texas state lottery online site.

Don't become addicted. "Just one more game" can last for hours and cost a bunch of money.

You know the house is favored to win and sooner or later they will fleece you. They make it easy though, all you have to do is give them your credit card number and press the buttons.
