There have not been any good movies lately.
So I have not gone to the movies in a while.

There have been some, depending on ones tastes.

I like the comic book take offs like the Avengers and silly stuff like that.

The Revenant was good as was The Nice Guys.

The movies today are all a no color, greenish brown amalgam of vulgar profanity filled pieces of crap.

I would not wast a penny seeing any of them ad would not waste a second watching the self-admiring communist idiots glorifying themselves.

Seeing today's pathetic wannabe's Ingrid Bergman, John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart and Edward G. Robinson must be rolling in their graves.

And not only for their miserable lack of talent, but more for their even more miserable compulsion to turn an award presentation into a partisan political forum.

My biggest problem with Hollywood movies (that you can rent on DVD) is that most of them take the Lord's name in vain. You'll find at least one or two times they will say God with the D word after it and this is in movies that are supposed to be movies about a historical event or with some good life lesson but they destroy the story by taking God's name in vain and I'm not listening to that.

I watched PBS's Masterpiece Theatre on "Victoria" and then fact checked most of it with Google while I watched it. Great docu-drama. Beautiful acting by some of my favorite classic British actors and actresses.

A lot of these "Victoria" actors/actresses were also in Johnny Depp's classic "From Hell" about Jack The Ripper who haunted the East End of London (Whitehall district) during the 1880's when Queen Victoria was old.

The theory of the "From Hell" movie is that either Victoria's nephew or her court physician was The Ripper.

We know now today that The Ripper was actually a deck hand who shipped out to the US and began his murder spree in NYC. He was caught and executed at Osining Prison in NYS.

Dang! And I thought I might be the only person fact-checking while watching those docudramas. "The Tudors" was a good one to fact check while watching, too.
