Reminds me of a well known Canadian poker player who has made millions in the U.S, while of course, treating it like a flop house and not becoming a citizen. He lives in LV and went nuts on the NRA with vulgar words and basically blaming them for these attacks. Yet, this pos has been pushing gambling addictions and poker on others without any remorse as he is a well paid shill. Standard hypocrisy. I wonder how many have had their lives ruined or killed themselves because of the addiction he promoted? He of course, won't see it this way.

What are the benefits and risks of going to college in modern America? Have we actually reached the point where a college education is far more of a negative than a positive to graduates entering the job market?

The only hope, if there is any left, is to keep your kids out of the brick and mortar university. Trade schools, and online degrees are the only way to limit the damage done by these leftist professors.

What are the benefits and risks of going to college in modern America?

For STEM (Science Tech, Engineering & Math) courses the benefits are much better than for others. I have told numerous people that unless you need a college degree to get in the door in your prospective field (CPA,JD,MD,DDS) then why are you wasting your time?

Have we actually reached the point where a college education is far more of a negative than a positive to graduates entering the job market?

I dont think it will ever be considered as a negative. Regardless of how 'dumbed down' schools have become, a college degree will still indicate a willingness to set a goal and stick to it.
