Nerve stuff. I used to have back problems, then I bought a hard mattress and cut a piece of plywood to put the cushions over, and I haven't' had a problem since. Soft means no support.

Sounds suspiciously that when you have over imbibed you are sitting on the toilet , slouching over to one side and falling asleep .

You need to make something that you can clip into when relieving your bowels that forces you to sit bolt upright .

Sounds like you have pelvic problems. Is that your left did, knowing what side is in the most imp. Or colon problems. Or spinal problems. Go to the doctors.
