That is what we are supposed to have congressional representatives for. That they have abdicated their responsibility to the executive branch and all lost their damn balls is the problem. Congress has become experts at shirking their duties.
The founders made a very grave error when establishing our government. They incorrectly thought the legislative branch would jealously guard its powers. It has done the exact opposite.
