Trump has taken the country hostage and threatened to destroy it if he doesn't get everything his way. He's counting on Democrats caring enough about the damage he's doing to cave. That's not going to happen. Trump will keep doing more damage if we don't stop him now, so we're stopping him now.

So, same bill as in December. DACA protections stay, permanently, and no changes to amnesty law. Those points aren't negotiable. In return, Trump can get some money for his wall.

Terrorists, huh? Let's discuss who the terrorists really are.

Trump wants a wall to help stop murderers from coming here and killing Americans.
Democrats don't want to stop them.

Trump wants a wall to help stop the flow of illegal narcotics to this country that are killing over 70,000 young lives a year.
Democrats don't want to stop that.

Trump wants to stop caravans from coming to the US which result in our border against getting assaulted, women being kidnapped for human trafficking, and children the same for prostitution.
Democrats don't want to stop that.

Trump wants to stop people coming here who lower our wages, threaten our culture, and stop an avenue for possible terrorists entering our country.
Democrats want to see that continue.

In reality both Democrats and Republicans want to stop senseless murders.

In reality both Democrats and Republicans want to stop the senseless loss of life due to preventable overdoes's.

In reality both Democrats and Republicans want to end the caravans of desperate people seeking relief.

In reality both Democrats and Republicans want the immigration system reformed.

We should work to find reasonable compromises on the way we want to achieve these goals instead of demonizing each other.

How can you say both sides want the same things when one is trying to take measures to stop these things and the other side trying to stop them from doing it?

With friends like Democrats, who needs enemies?

Sure they have. They want security they can remove once Trump is gone and they're in charge.

They don't want to stop illegals anymore than Warren wants to drink a beer.

"Recently released data on the number of arrests by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) shows that they are arresting many fewer illegal immigrants under Trump’s administration than under President Obama’s, at least through June of 2018. During the first full 17 months of the Obama administration, from February 2009 through June 2010, ICE arrested 437,671 illegal immigrants. For the same first full 17 months of the Trump administration, ICE arrested 226,138 illegal immigrants, about half the number arrested during the same period in Obama’s administration."
