‘People Dancing in Streets’: Syria, Russia, Iran Shrug Off ‘More Limited Than Feared’ Airstrikes
And just like that, Trump’s second Syrian attack appears to have come and gone.

Sure, over a 100 cruise missiles were fired on Saturday morning local time at three mostly empty military installations, including one research and two storage facilities in airstrikes that last no more than 70 minutes …

------------------

I posted a video somewhere on here on some post where people weren't upset by the attack at all, It really makes yah wonder maybe it's all fake LOL

Yep, its all over. Go ahead and put the planes and troops back where you had them......

Boom.

They would be doing the same if America had launched an all out invasion. It's called propaganda.

If anyone thinks Russia, Iran and Syria are happy about billions of dollar of investment (maybe hundreds of billions), high tech equipment and capability decimated, on top of the reality that at any time, the U.S and allies can and will destroy their infrastructure, than they are drinking kool-aid.

The only reason Assad is alive is because Obama didn't take him out when he had broad appeal after his Red Line was crossed. At this point, doing so, would destabalize and most certainly create a military confrontation from Iran and Russia. Who will be safe then?

I say let the generals decide the best course of action, as long as they do and not politicians or those with an ulterior motive, I am content with their decision.

I have been bitching about this weak ass response for hours. Hell, Obama could of done better

What more did you want? A proclamation of regime change and boots on the ground? All for some dead Sunni Muslims?

Thank God President Trump is smarter than that. This was just a little spanking to remind them who is in charge.

and pointless. Meanwhile, business as usual in Syria. If we want the gassing to stop, then you have to punch Russia in the nose. If we don't have the stomach for that, just like North Korea, then by all means., let the feet stomping and holding our breath continue until something changes

“We were able to find a solution that didn’t necessitate the use of force that actually removed the chemical weapons that were known from Syria, in a way that the use of force would never have accomplished. Our aim in contemplating the use of force following the use of chemical weapons in August of 2013 was not to intervene in the civil war, not to become involved in the combat between Assad and the opposition, but to deal with the threat of chemical weapons by virtue of the diplomacy that we did with Russia and with the Security Council. We were able to get the Syrian government to voluntarily and verifiably give up its chemical weapons stockpile.”
— Susan E. Rice, then-national security adviser, in an interview with NPR’s “Morning Edition,” Jan. 16, 2017

Good for Syria. I hope they carry on killing more Sunnis.

Whether they’re real or not, the gas attacks in Syria are not an accurate answer to the question “WHY are we involved in the Middle East?”
maybe it's all fake

IDK maybe.......but what's the ultimate purpose?

Of which, the purpose of them dancing? or the purpose of the strike?

The purpose of the strikes, if it's all fake

The ME has hated us for eons and only want to see us wiped off the map.

Up until recent years, our interest there has been oil and it may still be even though we have our own now. IDK

Another thought is, how in the hell can nations stand aside while Assad is killing/torturing his own people? It would be similar if you see someone beating their kid half senseless, just because they can......would you just stand there & let it happen or walk away without trying to intervene?

Is his chemical attacks on his own people fake??? IDK

Is any or all of it fake? From Assads assault on his people, to the US missile strikes to Russia's promise of retaliation. If any of it is fake, why? Reasons to go to war? What war if it's fake? What are they hiding?

It was a great disappointment, a mere political gesture, almost Obama-like, that will change nothing. Gestures for no other reason than allowing the Pentagon to boast they hit all the targets and for the President to announce, mission accomplished, will not change anything, not even the rhetoric; only a sustained effort at forcing material changes on the ground will have effect. If this is the extent of the US effort, why should anyone in the ME take the US anymore seriously than they did when Obama was president? Gestures like this will not make America great again, indeed, they will cost America the respect of both its allies and enemies.

One of the targets was an underground chemical warfare manufacturing bunker.
