Trump's economy was never as strong as the weirdo cultists want you to believe. The Fed had to cut interest rates even before COVID hit in order to stave off a recession. The corporate tax cuts never stimulated investment like he promised. Hell, even our energy industry was losing money which led Trump to threaten OPEC to reduce production and raise prices for domestic producers which screwed us over in the end.

It's indoctrination among MAGAs like you that were saying that Obama's 2.7% GDP growth was abysmal but Trump's 2.9% GDP growth was an economic miracle. I think recent years have shown us that adults are just as susceptible to indoctrination, as we have seen plenty of fully grown adults become completely absorbed by MAGA, which bears hallmarks of authoritarianism as well.

People who have achieved higher education are more likely to have a few important experiences. One, they are more likely to face people of different ethnic, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds which has a funny way of making them more empathetic to the concerns of others. Two, they are more likely to have learned critical thinking and source discrimination, providing them with a greater ability to discern reality from fantasy. This is the most important factor that is lacking in MAGA these days. Trump has used this to great effectiveness as he is able to convince his followers that truth is what they want to believe, not what is.

Your statement about your opinion of liberals applies just as well, if not more so to MAGA. No one likes to admit they are wrong. It's a hit to everyone's ego.

I never claimed that corporate taxes aren't inflationary, so perhaps you shouldn't start with a strawman. Tariffs lead to fewer international markets for US corporations to sell to.

If the US had a problem with high unemployment, maybe it would be worthwhile to seek reshoring of jobs. As it stands now, it's not necessary. Unemployment is super low. If Trump succeeds in deporting all illegal immigrants, we will have more jobs than people. A lot more. In fact the economy will probably shrink as a result of labor shortages. We don't need to bring back low skill, low value, low wage jobs from overseas. That's not how you succeed economically.
