Is it 1962 all over again? It could well be, since a dumb bell with his finger on nuclear weapons started a war that he is losing badly.

And, why in the hell did Trump, Tucker and the maga mob choose to back and encourage Putin with his war of nonsense???

Well, president wanna-be, Trump, in this endeavor, by backing Putin, has demonstrated his severe lack of military skill. Do we as a nation want his incompetent finger on the nuclear button again?

Do we as a nation

That conservatives want Trump to be ‘president’ again illustrates their contempt for sound, responsible governance.

No interest in seeing Trump back in the White House, but explain to me...

how is Bidens, or Harris', finger less incompetent?

Biden recreates images of nuclear annihilation and lefties blame the former president? Russians have had nuclear capability that rivals the U.S. for over half a century. The thing we have to fear the most is a doddering old fool in the W.H. with his finger on the nuclear trigger.
We're not going to launch nukes no matter what happens in Ukraine. The only thing that is different is one man, Putin, acting like he might.

Excuse me? Are you not aware that Putin took over Crimea without a shot being fired during the Obama admin and not a word was forthcoming from Obama. During Trump there were no imperialistic moves by Putin. Enter Biden and Putin starts acquiring new territory again. Please tell me what Trump had to do with that?

Not less incompetent, just better for the continuation of the country as a representative republic, so we can vote assholes out, when we need to or choose to.
Joe, surprisingly has (along with other faults) a misguided flare for over dramatization, as well as a lack of judgement on publicly speaking of a nuclear threat. I cannot imagine what was on his mind when he made the dire statements or who was to benefit from that public statement. It certainly was not him, the Democrat Party of the people of the United States.

Conservatives are fundamentally illiberal and authoritarian – consequently they’re attracted to despots and dictators like Putin, whom they perceived as ‘strong’ and ‘decisive.’

It also explains the neo-fascist right’s disdain for democracy – which conservatives perceive as being ‘messy,’ indecisive,’ and ‘weak.’

Indeed, in order for democracy to work, there must be consensus and compromise, which conservatives likewise have contempt for; the authoritarian right cannot tolerate compromise while adhering blindly to conservative political dogma.

In fact, for the neo-fascist right, to seek out consensus and accept compromise is to be ‘weak’ and ‘indecisive.’

This also explains the authoritarian right’s support of Trump, a wannabe dictator and tyrant who shares the same contempt and disdain for democracy as his acolytes; Trump whom conservatives perceive to be ‘strong’ and ‘decisive.’

You don’t know that. The US is the only nation to use nukes. It has a first strike policy.

Biden: “We're Trying To Figure Out How Putin Can Exit This War.”

"Pay no attention to the mountains of aggression the US and its client states have poured into sparking and sustaining this war. Pay no attention to that empire behind the curtain."

This is the problem with our consideration of how to respond to Putin's invasion.

Trump never supported Putin invading Ukraine. Trump prevented that invasion while in office by giving the Ukrainians weapons where the Democrats had only given them blankets. No MAGA republicans support the invasion.

The Democrats, with their Ukraine flag avatars (used by people who consider the American flag racist), are trying to tie Trump in with Putin as part of their seven years long quest to pin something - anything - on Trump.

It has prevented us from properly debating what is best for the United States.

Better that than Mr. Dementia. What if he suddenly halucinates that the button is a child? He won't be able to resist fingering it.

Authoritarian aggression has to be countered with steely genuine resolve. What you call US aggression is the response we must take to any hostile dictator and their vainglorious threats against our friends and allies.

What a whiny little retard you are.

Like it or not, it's time for the Alzheimer's patient to start accepting responsibility. Biden is the President now, not Trump. As such, all the shit that hits the fan falls under his ownership.

Putin knew better than to do anything stupid with Trump in office. From an international perspective, one of Trump's strongest qualities was his unpredictability. No one wanted to fuck with him because of that.

Putin knows that Biden's too big a pussy to act in response to anything Russia does, which is the reason we have a war in Ukraine now...

Biden creating images of nuclear annihilation, was purposely directed at demonizing Putin. One reason is undoubtedly America's intention of always trying to demonize the enemy country's leader (s) instead of accepting that the war is against Russia and their people's will to resist to the end.

Elon Musk's proposals for peace seen to be the only way out of this mess now, but it calls for America to back off on the intention of putting another Nato country on Russia's border.

If America fails again on the familiar mission of aggression, it won't get another chance!
