Pope Francis: Life is Always Worth Living, Even When Seriously Ill

You can think that all you like, the problem is when the church and its followers think that is for them to decide. Pope Francis has done a good job of bringing Catholicism into the 21st century, but he clings to a few antiquated beliefs.

The Church according to the Bible is not the Roman Church. It's the body of Christ that are born again Christians. You cannot enter the kingdom of heaven unless you have been born again. I'm an atheist, so the principles behind it don't really concern me. But the fact is, a lot of Catholics put a lot of stock in what the Pope believes, and he's an influential figure for a lot of Christians.

He is certainly very different from all the other popes in my lifetime, that is for sure.
