In business you look back at least on an annual basis. That's what we call evaluation.This is done to assess how your business can improve and grow. So these mealy mouthed comments about looking back shows an ignorance that is the probem with the so called west during these times. Israel was not handed back to anyone. Jews and Palestinians had lived there in peace. Jews coming out of WW2 could have relocated to that region without all the violence. Because Britain in itially wanted to give Kenya to Jews.

The best way forwards is to stop believing everythnig the Israeli government tells us, to reduce sending them weapons or to cut them off completely, and to stop supportiing them with our miitary. If that is done, the Israeli govermnment would be less likely to expand settllements, occupy other countries like Lebanon, Or try starting wars with Iran.
