President Obama receives "Profile in Courage" award

John f. Kennedy was a war hero. Really. Risked his life repeatedly to save his crew.

Even mentioning Soetoro's name in the same sentence as "courage," or heroism is an assault on logic, integrity, and patriotism. I curse the lot of them. How the Kennedy clan devolved into this state is worth considerable study.

Obama was and is a great man...Too many hate because he is a caring man that made life trillions of times easier during the great recession.

The John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award® - John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum

The Profile in Courage Award is a private award given to recognize displays of courage similar to those John F. Kennedy described in his book Profiles in Courage. It is given to individuals (often elected officials) who, by acting in accord with their conscience, risked their careers or lives by pursuing a larger vision of the national, state or local interest in opposition to popular opinion or pressure from constituents or other local interests.

The winners of the award are selected by a bi-partisan committee named by the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, which includes members of the Kennedy family and other prominent Americans. It is generally awarded each year around the time of Kennedy's birthday (May 29) at a ceremony at the Kennedy Library in Boston. The award is generally presented by Kennedy's daughter Caroline Kennedy. Also before their deaths Senator Edward Kennedy, John F. Kennedy Jr., and former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

Two recipients, John Lewis (in 2001) and William Winter (in 2008), were designated as honorees for Lifetime Achievement.

The winner is presented with a sterling silver lantern made by Tiffany's which was designed by Edwin Schlossberg. The lantern is patterned after the lanterns on USS Constitution, the last sail-powered ship to remain part of the US Navy, which is permanently moored nearby.

So when did Obama risk his career? If anyone deserves the award, it's Trump. He had to go through hell and an onslaught of abuse to win the Presidency. Obama had everyone in the press sucking his dick the whole way.
So when did Obama risk his career?
When he risked his life running against a Clinton 9 years ago

You seem to think being forced to spend trillions on his ideas is support. Nobody I know is better off today than when he took office. Nobody.

Oh, I don't know about that. There's Iran, ISIS, al Qaeda, and a shitload of welfare recipients who now have big cars and free houses. And let's not forget his investor friends who sold their Solyndra stock just before they went under.

So when did Obama risk his career?

He risked his career when he gave Iraq to the terrorists. He risked his career when he traded five of our top terrorists for a lowly deserter private. He risked his career when he lied to millions of us about Commie Care, and how it would lower our healthcare costs and allow us to keep our doctors and hospitals.

Most such awards mean nothing, as they are essentially "in-club" awards. Think "The Annual Grand Poobah Award" of the Bedrock Loyal Order of Water Buffaloes.

Correct, kind of like Trump accepting an award from the NRA, and then coming here and boasting about it.

Loved it. Listening to him and remembering the past 8years - damn, I miss him. Considering the impotent, pussy grabbing cheeto were stuck with now, no wonder the RWNJs are so bitter.
