Loved it. Listening to him and remembering the past 8years - damn, I miss him.
To you, that would be anyone to the right of Josef Stalin. No Nazis have received it.I said "conservatives".Yes, Presidents Ford and Bush, Sr.Have they ever given it to a conservative?
So the Kennedy family has a sense of humor. They saw how many laughs the Nobel Committee got for giving Obama a Nobel Peace Prize despite the fact he had done nothing to earn it and they thought it would be a good joke to give him an award for courage despite the fact he had never shown any.Live on MSNBC right now!

The John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award® - John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum
The Profile in Courage Award is a private award given to recognize displays of courage similar to those John F. Kennedy described in his book Profiles in Courage. It is given to individuals (often elected officials) who, by acting in accord with their conscience, risked their careers or lives by pursuing a larger vision of the national, state or local interest in opposition to popular opinion or pressure from constituents or other local interests.
The winners of the award are selected by a bi-partisan committee named by the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, which includes members of the Kennedy family and other prominent Americans. It is generally awarded each year around the time of Kennedy's birthday (May 29) at a ceremony at the Kennedy Library in Boston. The award is generally presented by Kennedy's daughter Caroline Kennedy. Also before their deaths Senator Edward Kennedy, John F. Kennedy Jr., and former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
Two recipients, John Lewis (in 2001) and William Winter (in 2008), were designated as honorees for Lifetime Achievement.
The winner is presented with a sterling silver lantern made by Tiffany's which was designed by Edwin Schlossberg. The lantern is patterned after the lanterns on USS Constitution, the last sail-powered ship to remain part of the US Navy, which is permanently moored nearby.

Maybe he got it for being married to that big ugly tranny?
Not fair.
I think we should leaver family out of it.
You mean the way snowflakes leave the Trump family out of it?
Not to be confused with current conservatives who stand up for what's wrong.Yes, we understand that courage to you means something beside having the fortitude to stand up for what's right.

I expect the left to show no class.
It's what they do.
Why should Obama's mistakes detract and nullify Carter's accomplishments?
That's why they gave him the award, Sun; he knew Obamacare would hurt and he did it anyway because he believed in it. Courage.Whatever for?
Just keeping us afloat and safe in spite of an obstructionist NaziCon Congress should be enough.
Now, that's funny.
There would have been no obstructionist congress if Obama hadn't screwed up in his first two years.
The house was supposed to stay democrat for 10 years (at the very least) after 2008.
Two years later....poooof. It's gone.
How about profile in arrogance or profile in stupidity.
Twenty-four million people would disagree. Maybe you don't know them; that's okay. You seem to think being forced to spend trillions on his ideas is support. Nobody I know is better off today than when he took office. Nobody.Obama was and is a great man...Too many hate because he is a caring man that made life trillions of times easier during the great recession.

Not all "courage" is reflected by MOABS and wars..
This is sad. The people harmed by this stuff are the previous winners. Jimmy Carter deserved the Nobel Peace prize for bringing about peace between Israel and Egypt. No one had even come close to something like that in the prior 30 years.
Whereas Obama was selected before he was in office long enough to change the toilet paper in the bathrooms. Bombing Libya for the fun of it and opening a new military arms bazaar in north africa must have had the prize committee running in circles.
When peoples rhetorical claims are the metric, and not their actions, it just destroys the entire purpose of the recognition in the first place.
Why should Obama's mistakes detract and nullify Carter's accomplishments?
Tell that to every other civilized nation in the world. That's why they gave him the award, Sun; he knew Obamacare would hurt and he did it anyway because he believed in it. Courage.Whatever for?

He knew Commie Care would create more new government dependents which was the only goal in the first place. 20 million new government dependents on Commie Care, another 20 million new government dependents on food stamps. Those to programs alone netted the Democrat party with 40 million more new government dependents.
The more government dependents, the more likely Democrat voters.
