I heard last night he has not been on oxygen, so I don't know. Either way, the fact that he's doing media briefings from the hospital is a positive sign.

Your doctor doesn't put you on steroids because you are fine. Steroids depress the immune system. It stops the cytokine storm from killing you, that is your own immune system killing you in a desperate attempt to stop the virus. But it means that your body is no longer able to fight off the virus unless it has antibodies. But it doesn't because that is why the cytokine storm is about to happen, because you don't have the antibodies. The cytokine storm is the result of the body's last desperate attempt to stop the virus, hopefully killing it before the cytokine storm kills you. So, you think that medical intervention to shut down the immune system because it ain't working anyways and is about to kill you is "a precaution ONLY"? That would be like putting someone of chemotherapy as a precaution.
