I understand the role the currently play and I understand the role they were meant to play. Right now they are not one in the same. The Founding Fathers were very specific when they wrote the Constitution giving the Fed Govt very limited powers and specifically stating all other powers belonged to the states.

His comments about using the death penalty for drug dealers also made perfect sense.

Many states already have laws that allow for anyone associated with a crime that involves the death of someone, be charged with murder.

Why did Trump write a letter of recommendation for a convicted cocaine dealer if he's so concerned about drug abuse?

Assuming that’s true, cocaine isn’t an opioid. He also talked about criminals getting a second chance.
