On CNN tonight, Carly Fiorina told Anderson Cooper that the media is certainly to blame for the rise of Donald Trump. Cooper took some issue with that.

Cooper told her, “Donald Trump returned phone calls and was willing to do interviews, which was something your campaign, frankly, often wasn’t willing to do.”

He said that CNN repeatedly “reached out to you to follow you around on the campaign trail” and asked if it’s really fair to “point the finger at the media” when he actually did interviews.

The media covers news folks are interested in. The reason Trump gets the coverage is that the viewers are interested in Trump. Simple as that.
