Professional football and pink smoke.

Professional football is certainly popular in the United States. The players in the NFL are seventy percent black. Americas increasingly woke population assiduously watches on Sundays and now during the week as black players entertain them on the gridiron. For some reason no one asks why black men who make up only about seven percent of the US population, make up seventy percent of the NFL.

What we do know is that football fans do not like their games interrupted by political actors trying to make political points. Televison crews routinely cut away from people running onto the field trying to get in front of cameras. This is done to discourage the behavior of those who would use the NFL’s massive popularity for any reason other than the sport itself. Most agree that it is good thing not to broadcast these events.

On a Monday night game at San Francisco’s Levi Stadium, a protester ran onto the field trailing pink smoke. The interloper was evading security guards, so Los Angeles Rams millionaire black linebacker Bobby Wagner, wearing full equipment, stepped in and flattened the protester clad in shorts and a tee shirt. The crowd cheered and celebrated as another threat to make a farce of the game was taken down.

This raises a serious question in a reasonable mind: Why did no NFL players run out onto the field in 2016 and knock the snot out of Kolin Kaepernick when he used the NFL and all the eyes it attracts to push a radical political movement? How is Kolin Kaepernick any different from that pink-smoke protester? Why did the cameras not stop rolling at once when NFL players started kneeling in lockstep with the corrupt Black Lives Matter Movement? Those players make millions.

The answer is that the entire debacle was to remove Donald Trump from the White House and the NFL along with many rich sports organizations abandoned American sports fans. It abandoned average America for the money that woke advertisers give them to adopt the discord that divides the country. The NFL prostituted itself to the wokeness that the rich and powerful in the US believe is the coming trend.

Many football fans, including this writer, do not watch much football anymore. The NFL has become a symbol of something much darker in our country. Unfortunately, at this point in the game it looks like only Hail-Mary is going to save us.

It was a nice tackle by the Rams plater from the sideline.

Can you believe the crazed criminal fan's lawyer has said their client is looking into legal actions he can take (against the ayer, stadium, NFL...)?

Good grief.

Are you under some kind of spell or something?

Seriously? You're trying to draw a comparison between a protest for social justice by taking a knee (OMG...the HORROR!!) to some asshole running out on to the field and getting his clock cleaned? :auiqs.jpg:

Normally, I'd try to talk reason with you. But you're too far gone.
Best to just sit on your porch and scream at the neighbor kids to stay off your lawn! :)

It is too late for you because you drank the Kool Aid.:disbelief:

I'll tell you why. First, his teammates. Second, why get tossed from the game where you might legitimately get to level the guy if you hate him and his kneeling in solidarity (or what ever he thought he was doing) that much.

I thought it was a really good tackle too...play stupid games around NFL linemen that outweigh and outmuscle you by at least 50 pounds....win stupid prizes like getting knocked on your ass.

But seriously, start smoking some weed..or go to a pumpkin festival and get let off some steam. They had a really good one in 2014 out that way. :auiqs.jpg:
Kapernick deserved none of the shit he took.

Because Kaepernick was not disrupting the game and was involved in silent protest

He took a knee for weeks before anyone noticed

Kaepernick was an employee of the football team and allowed to be there.

The protester was neither and there was no way to know what he was holding.

How is this confusing for you?

I guess you don't listen to black and brown sports commentators. The discussion around the NFL and NBA trafficking in the inner city for black excellence has been and is being discussed, probably more than ever.

Because he's a colleague you moron. They have infinitely more respect for him than they do you. All of them. Every single one. The white players too.

The NHL is my go to sport. They even had a slight moment of insanity during the whole BLM movement fiasco. But it was like one night, during one game, they had a black player (one of maybe 3 in the entire league) go on TV and tell us all how blacks are so mistreated in this country. That was the last anyone heard anything like that from the NHL so my guess is ratings suffered immediately because of it.

when they start painting "end racism" on the ice I will quit watching them too!

Comparing this to Kappy is ridiculous, as I hope you know...?

And I'm actually with the pink protestor on this one.

The player used excessive force and should - and will - have to pay up.

Bringing a gun to a knife fight is actually a VERY bad idea legally speaking.

He only has a case against the player who flattened him.

This was a VERY foolish mistake on the player's part, and one he'll pay for.

The rest of the cases will find the protestor pounding sand, and likely having to pay costs to those he's suing.

The protestor will win his suit against the player - or more likely settle - but is otherwise not going to get anything.
