The US has not suffered high inflation because it is able to finance its deficits by selling Treasury bonds. The Fed is not printing more money to cover the deficit but to keep interest rates low to encourage economic growth. Russia can't sell bonds, so when it starts printing more money to cover its deficit, it will cause inflation.

Iran's GDP is more than Russia....and they are under sanctions too.

But with European and American sanctions it's taken a severe hit.

The goal of decimating Russian capabilities and severely cutting into their ability to wage war with NATO has already been achieved. I think Poland can take them if they wanted to. We might encourage them to do so too. They have a long standing dislike for Russia (for good reasons) and no stomach to put up with them ever again.

Poland and Finland both are ready to invade Ukraine just to get at the Russians...but if we allow them Azerbaijan wants to tag in as well.
Belarus is kinda wishy washy as is Slovakia. Hungary is able to read the writing on the wall and knows which side of the bread the butter is on. So I don't see them getting too involved either way.
