During the 2008 Presidential Election, Harry Reid made some interesting comments about Barack Obama. These are just a few of his comments.
In private conversations, Reid had remarked that Obama could win the Presidency because the country was ready to embrace a black presidential candidate, especially one such as Obamato whom he referred as being "light-skinned" and "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one".
Reid went on to make a number of further offensive comments about blacks and Hispanics, drawing rebukes from a number of prominent Latino Americans, including Marco Rubio. The good news with all of this is if you are "light-skinned with no Negro dialect," Harry Reid might actually think you're worthwhile. It's something, right? And the shutdown is all the Republicans fault.
