Property Taxes will go way up in the Blue Wall After the Election

Im sure they will be going up very soon. Two things...the coastal liberals have an insatiable desire for money and spending. Thats just the normal upwards prssure.
But more importantly, in normal times tax hikes are a drag on election prospects. But given the current situation, and the intelligence of liberals, now they can raise their citizens property taxes and blame Trump. People like Lesh do fall for it. I have witnessed it.
Its not hard to blame Trump when he doesnt pay his property taxes.
Only the little people pay taxes.

Your link says they paid late...dumbass.

Homes and rental units have been overbuilt in the northeast while fires and soon landslides are happening on the left coast.

Overbuilt? At least over here, many can't find a decent rent. I've been a landlord for 25 years, and I've never seen demand this high before.
/——/ We just sold our rental property in NC for $300k. We paid $30k 15 years ago. They paid the asking price without batting an eye. They are rehabbing the two units and doubling the rent. We aged out of the business and are collecting our profits.

Everything is booming. Make hay while the sun shines in the Trump era.

Obviously, you don't read the news every day:
Blue states don't want to pay their fair share.
Blue states file suit against the US over tax deduction limits
  • The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act places a $10,000 cap on the state and local tax deduction.
  • New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Connecticut filed suit against the federal government on Tuesday morning.
  • Andrew Cuomo, governor of New York, alleged that the federal tax law will cost New Yorkers $14.3 billion in 2018 alone.

Bribes to major employers to prevent moves decreases job creation by reducing the incentives for creation of small businesses.

Homes and rental units have been overbuilt in the northeast while fires and soon landslides are happening on the left coast.

Short form population and GDP growth in the Blue Wall is lagging behind the national average so the poor increase as a percentage of the population but land can always be taxed to make up for the shortfall.
I don't believe homes and rental units have been overbuilt in the northeast. In fact, I believe the opposite to be true. I believe luxury units are overbuilt, and affordable housing and rentals are in short supply.

Do you have a link to support your claim?

Major apartment developer: 'There is an acute crisis headed our way'

The luxury market is largely overbuilt, while there is a shortage of affordable rental housing.

In fact, multifamily construction is now at a 40-year high; the trouble is, developers are putting up the wrong kinds of buildings. The luxury market is largely overbuilt, while there is a shortage of affordable rental housing, and developers are hamstrung by the now record-high cost of construction.

Does MI have that strange rule of state and local income taxes being some specified percentage of federal income tax? (My apologies I have another thread that I created that is also causing some buzz.)
