The Russian president said that western support for Ukrainian strikes deep inside Russia would change the "nature of the conflict dramatically.”

somehow i'm not surprised at all by this news.
ever since the Dems decided to continue the takeover attempt of Ukraine by NATO+EU,
they have ignored the large percentage of Ukranians and Baltic citizens who still favor an alliance with Moscow.

our entire western doctrine, by American orders, has been based on defeating Russia and all things communist.

well, as a resident of a country with -in reality- a hybrid economy of social welfare arrangements and free market principles,
i can tell you that most of this anti-commie behavior is just male juvenile secretly-fearful(!) showboating.

and this fear, that is used as justification for some pretty nasty fearmongering against all things and people who are communist,
is actually fairly easy to overcome.

each country that adapts some socialist or communist aspects into their society is going to do so in their own way,
when assisted or left alone rather than forced.

i think it's time we stopped fooling ourselves and recognize that the greed found in free market principles will often go against the interests of the population,
who are taking note of all of this, and with whom a day of reckoning can not always be dismissed out of hand.

To Putin, "red lines" mean exactly that....The west would do well to take him at his word.

Either that or don't act all surprised when he hits some Polish or UK Uke training facility.
Why?

What is his vodka army going to do. Try to nuke us?

Better not push Putin all the way.

It will interfere with profits if the status quo escalates. Americans have already forgot they are funding the shit out of death and destruction, while enriching the oligarchy.
Wouldn't want them to pay attention again...
