Quinnipiac Poll: Biden at 31% Approval;Falls to 19% Approval With Breakfast Tacos

Subjective fiction and an education harvested from Wikipedia.

Let's run with anecdotal evidence instead, shall we?

In the past ten years my wife and I have lived in two states: Maryland and Pennsylvania. Maryland, although administered by a republican governor wearing a donkey suit, could be deemed among the bluest states in the Union, both in terms of government and voting citizenry. Pennsylvania, on the other hand, long the victim of forced blue executive governance in Wolf, remains strongly red across the two houses of its legislature and (outside of Philly and Pittsburg) boasts a deep red voting population.

My wife and I lived in Maryland for seven years just outside the gates of a major military installation but on the frontier of both a generationally democrat dominated city and a rather POSH, upscale sleeper shopping mecca which also seemed to largely vote blue. During our time there we interacted with many, many local people, family members living in the area and their acquaintances, business professionals, university staff and students, shoppers, law enforcement, military personnel, local politicians and community leaders and others still. To say we talked local, state and national politics with lots of folks is an understatement.

By and large, by a quite surprising majority—considering the state and intersection of counties—our fellow Marylanders, even those known to vote blue, rejected abortion on demand—late term abortions in particular, gun control legislation in any form, persecution of Christians, transgender brainwashing of children, and the participation of biological males in both women's sports and their entry into women's restrooms and locker rooms in public schools and privately owned gyms. Keep in mind once again that Maryland seems to be a blue state through and through. The common ground shared by many Maryland voters on these issues or rather, their common distaste from morally unacceptable democrat platforms was (surprise!) their religion, with around three to one of them identifying as Catholics, twenty-five percent Protestants and the rest an odd blend of Muslims, Hindus and other faiths.

Our takeaways from years of interaction with fellow Marylanders? They love to shoot and hunt, or at least have the option to defend themselves with firearms (the crime rate in Baltimore!), they do not want children regularly murdered in the wombs of their mothers, and they do not appreciate public school lesson plans geared toward either the early sexualization of their children nor curricula which capitalizes on influencing their children to want to become the opposite sex. Overall, and although many Marylanders do vote blue by tradition, they personally reject many of the more radical democratic party platforms.

Pennsylvania is an even more interesting conundrum for the democratic party again, outside of blue plantation cities such as Philadelphia and Pittsburg. As above mentioned with Maryland also applies to our time living PA these past few years; we've come to know, work with, interact with many, many Pennsylvanians.

What we've seen repeated again and again all over Pennsylvania are rural counties full of vast majorities of citizens who are generational hunters, varmint and target shooters, gun collectors and otherwise gun aficionados. They listen to country music and heavy metal with equal relish, drive beater cars and pickup trucks in cold weather, brand new motorcycles in milder seasons and by God you'd better believe they despise the idea of abortion, CRT and transgender ideology in public schools, persecution of Christians, any change to their local cultures and, above all else, the very idea of old and new gun control laws.

We tend to base our concept of what the rest of America is thinking based on the cross section of people we meet and chat with and people we know somewhat and quite well—our way of taking America's pulse, as it were. Unless the people—your fellow Americans—where you live are a completely different breed of human being, there's no way in hell any majority of them support the extreme democratic party platforms you list; it just isn't possible in a world where people want the ability to defend themselves and their loved ones and genuinely LOVE the idea of new human life coming into the world, not dissected in the womb. Too many Americans, whether or not they'll readily admit it, base their deepest beliefs on their religious upbringing and moral codes derived from their faith to stand for radical, immoral blue platforms.
Nobody is going to take your guns away. No lawmaker in Congress wants to abolish the Second Amendment. No one wants to take away a person's right to defend themselves. These are all myths promulgated by Republicans because they can't argue against gun control in the midst of weekly shooting massacres like Buffalo, Uvalde, and Highland Park.

So they avoid all that by claiming the Democratic socialists want to take your guns away and abolish the Second Amendment. That is pure nonsense spread by persons with limited education skills.

Gun control is not targeting you, or gun owners like you. Gun control is meant to keep guns out of the hands of teenage assassins, those with criminal records, and those with dangerous mental problems.

Why gun owners like yourself are opposed to that is a mystery. Perhaps it is due to a lack of awareness.

Now you are aware.

When you say “NO ONE”, you are speaking hyperbolically and you show your bias.

Try it against without absolutes.

A strong majority of Americans favor meaningful gun control laws and a ban on assault rifles.

The NRA sponsored Republican Party is vehemently opposed to meaningful gun control laws and a ban on assault rifles.

When it comes to abortion, a strong majority of Americans support the woman's right to decide her health decisions as well as decisions on related matters.

The Republican Party strongly opposes the woman's rights in this matter and favor government control of the woman's health.

The Earth is heating up and people are dying. A strong majority of Americans favor enacting climate change initiatives.

The oil, gas, and coal sponsored Republican Party along with Senator Manchin are opposed to climate change legislation because it is inflationary. Beyond that, their sponsors wouldn't like it.

Republicans are better than Democrats at managing the economy. Really? U.S. economic history belies that myth promulgated by Republicans.

10 of the last 11 recessions started under Republican presidents. Every Republican president since Benjamin Harrison, who served from 1889 to 1893, had a recession in their first term in office. Below is the start date of recessions; the following list includes the president in office at that time and their party:

1.) February 2008 (Bush 43 / R) House - D / Senate - D

2.) December 2007 (Bush 43 / R) House - D / Senate - D

3.) March 2001 (Bush 43 / R) House - R / Senate - R

4.) July 1990 (Bush 41 / R) House - D / Senate - D

5.) July 1981 (Reagan / R) House - D / Senate - D

6.) January 1980 (Carter / D) House - D / Senate - D

7.) November 1973 (Nixon / R) House - D / Senate - D

8.) December 1969 (Nixon / R) House - D / Senate - D

9.) April 1960 (Eisenhower / R) House - D / Senate - D

10.) August 1957 (Eisenhower / R) House - D / Senate - D

11.) July 1953 (Eisenhower / R) House - R / Senate - R

12.) November 1948 (Truman / D) House - R / Senate - R

The economy was in recession for 49 quarters from 1949-2013; 8 of these quarters were under Democrats, with 41 under Republicans.

Our latest recession took place under the Republican administration of Donald Trump in 2020. Recovery took place under the Democratic Biden administration. We currently have full employment and healthy spending by consumers.

Within the next few months, while under investigation by the DOJ for sedition, Donald Trump is expected to announce his candidacy for President in the next few months.

Question: Why in the world are Republicans expected to win control of Congress in November? Sheer ignorance? Americans vote against their interests? Party first, their own interests second?

Our economic history was provided by this source, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._...mocratic_and_Republican_presidents#Recessions
Democrats should run on gun grabbing and baby killing in November.

Breakfast tacos bring crime. They're rapists. They bring drugs.

Some, I assume, are good tacos.

Man, you just can't help yourself. Trump fucked your wife.

As usual, you only see what you want to see.

I guess you missed these items from your link:

Nearly Half Of Americans Worry About Being Mass Shooting Victim

Americans give Republicans in Congress a negative 23 - 68 percent job approval rating, which is a new high on disapproval during Biden's presidency in a Quinnipiac University poll.

Americans give the Supreme Court a negative 37 - 56 percent job approval rating.

Among registered voters, if the election were held today, 45 percent say they would want to see the Democratic Party win control of the United States House of Representatives, while 44 percent say the Republican Party, and 11 percent did not offer an opinion.

As for tacos:
