Well, I feel sorry for Bernie Sanders, even if he is a dimmie.
If I had to stand for two hours on a stage in front of cheerleading reporters for the furtherest left statement being judged the best at their whim, and had to listen to the others criticize my wearing of one sock navy, one sock black, I might just have myself a little cardiac arrythmia too.

With almost twenty other choices (still), I don't know why even the most die-hard democratic socialist would vote for him to take on President Trump now. I also think he's foolish to keep running - the notoriously grueling campaign trail for the most notoriously demanding job in the world would be a lot to ask for even the healthiest 78-year-old, let alone one that suffers a legit heart attack in the early rounds.

I almost feel bad for him.

2016 I believed he was a genuine person who led with his heart more than his brain.

2019 I see he's not genuine at all. He portrays himself as a good person while what comes out of his mouth entertains the dumbest among us. He'd sell his soul for power. That and he's spastic, which contributed to his heart failure.

In the end Sanders is just another mouth. If you think Carter didn't have the bronze to be POTUS, Sanders would be worse. At least Carter is genuine.

I'm so sorry to hear of the Sanders' family's losses. Bernie's down but not out, and his daughter-in-law died two days after his heart attack, according to this: Daughter-in-law of Bernie Sanders dies at 46, two days after cancer diagnosis

Prayers up for the Sanders family. The family was further hurt when Bernie did not support his son who ran for office in his state recently, and who now has children to raise by himself.

Dr. Rainè Riggs was the wife of the Vermont senator's son Levi Sanders, 50, and mother to three children, Sunnee, Ryleigh, and Grayson. She was an accomplished neuropsychologist who once served as the co-director of Behavioral Medicine at Dartmouth Medical School and is credited with developing and launching the Palliative Care Department for Dartmouth Medical Center.

"Rainè, a truly selfless person, was always heavily involved in working with the homeless, especially homeless veterans," said an obituary for Riggs published by the Lee & Martin Funeral Home in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. "Rainè also spent time volunteering with pediatric hospice. Rainè was the owner of Riggs Geriatric Psychology in Windsor, Vt. She also volunteered at ground zero after the tragedies of 9/11, providing much needed counseling for survivors, first responders and the families of those who lost their lives."

"I don't know how our family will ever get over this loss as she was loved so much," the obituary said. "I do know that we will continue on because we have to ... we promised her we would."
