That bit of information has been shared every time I know of that Robert Byrd has been mentioned on this board. I'm not sure why this would be something new to you. Byrd was able to change his spots, but it took decades of constant work for him to shed the reputation that he had worked so hard to develop. I don't know if Trump is able to do that, but he hasn't shown any indication that he might. So far, his racist actions and remarks don't show any sign of changing.
