Rand was right, Ayn that is

Governments using tax money to pay people to prevent them from having children doesn't sound libertarian, but big government instead.

---------------------------------------------------

I don't know how it has got to be characterized.....but the best hope for this Country long run is to start paying unmarried 15, 16 and 17 year old girls not to have babies.

Its obviously controversial...some one will surely play the race card pretty quick...and it will create no cure before the next election, or the next...but it is the only hope of saving this decaying society.

Try it first in picked trial areas...like Detroit, South Chicago, and a couple of places in the South and one in California.

Really, only Democrats would object to unmarried 15, 16, and 17 year old girls having fewer babies.

Don't look for the Duck Dynasty fans to back you up on that. They want little girls to be forced "marry" adult men

Too many people are onto that lefty political trick of repeating lies and hoping it will stick.

I think it is too late.

After 50 years of the Great Society and the War on Poverty, and after 6 years of Obama...a full third are on some sort of Government Dole...

No. We are all on the dole. Every last one of us. Employer-sponsored health insurance tax exemptions, mortgage interest rate deductions, child tax credits, farm subsidies, oil subsidies, etc., etc., etc.

$17 trillion worth of dole. We all took it. It is time for everybody to stop blaming everybody else. It is ALL of us.

Its on video, the video has been posted here repeatedly and its available on You Tube. Deal with it.

Its the ultimate example of society pulling together for the greater good and I don't see any rw's sending their back.

Ayn Rand believed that an embryo had no rights.

Abortion ?Ayn*Rand Lexicon

An embryo has no rights. Rights do not pertain to a potential, only to an actual being. A child cannot acquire any rights until it is born. The living take precedence over the not-yet-living (or the unborn).

Abortion is a moral right—which should be left to the sole discretion of the woman involved; morally, nothing other than her wish in the matter is to be considered. Who can conceivably have the right to dictate to her what disposition she is to make of the functions of her own body?

shhhh .... They're pretending they don't know that. Just like LyinRyan does.

A house mortgage tax deduction, for example, is a means by which the Government lets you keep a little bit more of your OWN money...and it is impossible for anyone but a virtually pure Socialist to confuse that with taking away money from one citizen to dole it out to another.

That notion in itself is evidence of the decay in our morals or education, or both.

." We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force." Ayn Rand

its where are going if we do not stop it NOW. WE the people let it happen, only we the people can stop it.

She's describing totalitarianism. And we're on the fast track.

You and Ayn are backward in thinking: that is all.

Cue the "Rand accepted Social Security" in 3...2...

Anyone that stands for individual liberty or limited government is a hypocrite if they accept that which they were forced to contribute towards. True story. :doubt:

Cue the personal attacks substitute for logical refutation. Instead of thoughtfully considering a person's view you adopt a straw man attack.

From Rand's own words:

"...the victims, who opposed such laws, have a clear right to any refund of their own money—and they would not advance the cause of freedom if they left their money unclaimed, for the benefit of the welfare-state administration."

I suppose Russians who stood in bread lines are hypocrites as well?

I agree with Rand's sentiment, but do not accept her "cure" for the ills under which we are currently suffering.

Her solution is far from the best one. She is just as extremist as those she spoke of.

Freedom is pretty extreme eh? What isn't? Slavery?

How about that she was pro-abortion and a nazi sympathizer who wrote books that appeal to high school kids (and certain rw's) who haven't learned how to think for themselves yet.

Nazi sympathizer? Where do you make this stuff up?

Rand believed in individual freedom not socialism, in case you are behind in your history, the Nazis were collectivists: "The National Socialist German Workers' Party"

Classic liberal attack, adopt a position that your enemy doesn't have and then attack it.

Backward thinking people don't make cogent arguments, they just use ad hominems.

I guess she wasn't a good Christian, eh sploogy?

LOL

You morons and your hating points, that you don't even begin to comprehend.....

You always have to lie, Puddly Pillowbite.

Instead of posting ignorant hate, why not actually pick up a book and educate yourself?

Rand supporting abortion is of surprise to no one who has actually read her works. Only you fucktards from KOS, reading hate based talking points think it is some sort of win...

And Nazi supporter? You stupid, stupid little man....

Ignorant, reactionary, hyperbolic nonsense.

Leftist fucktards like G5000 think that all wealth belongs to the state. Any wealth that a person has, is either a gift from our rulers, or stolen.

After 50 years of the Great Society and the War on Poverty, and after 6 years of Obama...a full third are on some sort of Government Dole...and Lord knows how many are on the Big Government Dole--members of Public Employee Unions.

We need to quit paying the non-producers to have babies, and start paying them not to get pregnant to begin with.

And Lois Lerner needs to go to Jail.

No, that's 47% on some sort of government dole,

Gee, a far left whackdoodle like you not accepting Rand's ideas - who would have guessed... :dunno:

Gee a republican that swallows Ayn Rand whole and cannot find one issue of disagreement with her. Who would've guessed?
