Few and far between are those stories where folks' Constitutional Freedoms are recognized and honored and protected. We usually hear about cake bakers being found "guilty" for their religious beliefs (Colo. judge orders Christian baker to bake gay wedding cake. Will he say no video - CSMonitor.com) or farm owners getting fined for exercising their right to rent property to whomever they choose (Farm owners fined for saying no to lesbian wedding - Religion News Service). But we have before us a case where common sense and a kid's right to his religious convictions has won out (for the time being):

Public High School Backs Down: OK’s Pro-Life Club

(CNSNews.com) - A Virginia high school that had previously denied a student’s request to start an on-campus pro-life club reversed its decision Thursday, and is now saying students can start the group – but not until next year.

CNSNews.com reported earlier this week that the Thomas More Society, a public interest law firm, sent a demand letter Tuesday to Courtland High School Principal Larry Marks after he refused to grant Madison Sutherland, a senior student, permission to start a pro-life club on campus.
