Real Reason Dems are talking "Impeachment"

It's always about the money with the Democrats..

How can they get more out of the people's pockets into their own.

Actually, it's about how We the Pyyple can band together to provide money for President Obama's defense fund--enough to defeat corporatist scum like the Koch brothers and Karl Rove.

Just the Koch Brothers and Karl Rove ? ... What about George Soros , Teresa Heinz Kerry , Barry Diller and Michael Eisner ?

Don't forget the Ford Foundation.

I dunno. The GOP and nitwits like the ones on this board started this drum-beating last year.

The Dems just took Rahm Emanuel's advice: "Never let a good crisis go to waste".

I'm sure dumbass Boehner's lawsuit against Obama has filled the DNC coffers, too.

Republicans just keep electing people that aren't very bright much less visionary.

So why do Democrats only appeal to idiots, ideologs, and foreigners?

The lawsuit was just a non political means to hold Obama accountable for his acts. They did the same thing to Sarah Palin. Sued the shit out of her. Forced her to resign.

So now it's stupid. Guess you have a problem with thinking outside the box.

non political ?

BBBBAAAAWWWWAAAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

said lawsuit won't even make it to a hearing before Obama is out of office and long gone... yeah, lets hold the POTUS accountable, he's no longer in office.

damn, RW's are D-U-M-B .

Reagan had 4 lawsuits brought against him. and the world doesn't even remember it ... accountable my butt.

Oh yes - The Ford Foundation ...lol....

The Ford Foundation is a part of an extensive network of leftwing philanthropists and foundations dedicated to undermining the American way of life, destroying traditional family values and collapsing the free enterprise system that made its very existence a possibility. Their objective is to destroy the constitutional foundations which helped make America Great and demote it to a Socialist dictatorship. Left Wing Ford Foundation

You are such a sad ass idiot.

They are not suing President Obama as Mr. Obama....expecting retribution if he is found to be in the wrong.

They are looking to set a legal precedent so FUTURE presidents do not overstep their boundaries as they Believe the current President did.

All of us should support the action.

Probably because they had no legal standing.

Oh, once Obama is out of office he has to pay for it himself. He can't dip into the treasury anymore.

Best way to punish a rich man is take his money.

As I recall any suits against Reagan grew out of Iran-Contra and were tossed out as either being without Merit or frivolous

suing a POTUS isn't political though is it?

freaking morons should be sued for their stupid comments then sued again for dodging them ...

No. It is not political.

It is known as congressional oversight of the executive branch.

Sure, it may be politically motivated...and politically resisted.......and it most certainly can be painted as nothing but political by those against the action......

But when congress sues the president, it has nothing to do with politics. In this case it has to do with what the Congress believes is over-reach of the executive branch.

Impeachment is more likely political.

Congressional suing is by no means political.

Or is it that you don't know what "political" means?

Obama is a poster-boy for folks that love raising Hell.

They love it when he makes life miserable for most of America.

As one USMB member stated, "He fucks with people".

Sure glad that Washington and Lincoln didn't love fucking with people. We wouldn't even be a country if that was the case.

Exactly. Obama is not a "man of the people". He's a "man against his people".

Far as I know a court of law isn't supposed to be political.

A week ago Obama lost yet another legal battle against Hobby Lobby.

What does he do?

Whine that white males screwed him over.

Impeachment is of course political by nature. It's a remedy within a political structure. And an impeachment as I have been learning by its very nature only punishes the President at the time.

On the other hand, this lawsuit will affect every President forever and a day once the Supreme Court makes a judgement.

Most interesting. I've been weeding my way thru various legal website and this is being taken very seriously.

It makes no sense to demand the drastic step of impeachment, which is highly unlikely to succeed. Furthermore, a Supreme Court precedent would be binding on future presidents.

Impeaching one president would not prevent the next president from the same violation.

when one political party sues another it is by DEFINITION political.

past Presidents have been sued 14 times, ALL to no avail..

Politicians making noise because they're politicians .... nothing political about if you're an idiot.

The courts aren't supposed to be political.

However, liberals use them politically.

Obama lost on the Hobby Lobby v Burwell case and all he and his lib friends can say is that white men screwed him over. Now they're on a mission to hose Hobby Lobby.

I figure what Obama wants he dares you to do, and he whines about what he doesn't want you to do. So sue the fuck out of him. If I was a liberal I'd sue him till it's coming out of his ears. That's what they would do.

That is what I said earlier. A law suit will not result in restitution....it will result in a precedent.

And a precedent will be there for ALL Presidents to abide by.....both republicans as well as democrats.

So this is not a political move. It is congress saying "wait a minute....we don't think you can do this and we sure as hell don't want others to do it in the future if we are correct...so we better have the courts determine its constitutionality"

Now, in this case, a President signed something into law and decided unilaterally, not to enforce the law via EO....and that can be very dangerous...

Think of a GOP President with a democratic house. What if that President opted to UNILATERALLY change the ACA and allow insurance companies to offer whatever dam plans they want to? How would that fly?

Democrats better use their heads on this one and support the law suit.

It is not politically.

It is congressional oversight.

Obama was on trial ? Funny I didn't see him in the News.

Liberals use the court, Republicans don't ?

got it.

you've got mud in your whistle BTW
