You are making a very big assumption when you assume everyone on the left is upset about the verdict. The problem with so many of you is that you see everything as either left or right, when in reality it is very different from that.

You are making a very big assumption when you assume everyone on the left is upset about the verdict. The problem with so many of you is that you see everything as either left or right, when in reality it is very different from that.

I disagree....although I DO agree with you when you say "everyone on the left"...

I am on the right.....however, I am pro gay marriage, not against abortion, and I do not refer to undocumented immigrants as illegal aliens.....so "not everyone" on the right is against gay marriage, abortion, and amnesty.

However, it is quite evident that the Martin/Zimmerman situation is a left vs. right issue. On the most part, people on the left refused to give Zimmerman credibility while most on the right gave him the benefit of the doubt.

However, if the races were reversed, I am convinced that the left would have supported Zimmerman's right to a fair trial, and the right would have as well....and it would not even be a topic of conversation with anyone but "court watchers".

I think that is exactly why they keep beating this dead horse. They should have been just as passionate about those other things, but their interest is only in things that support the current agenda.
