Once upon a time the U.S. had a policy of NOT negotiating with terrorists. It would NOT pay ransoms. It would not be allowed to be blackmailed. Not any more.
Obama paid a ransom for a deserter...then released the Taliban 5, falsely claiming they were part of the deal. Now our govt is caving to blackmail from a foreign nation who is offended by being connected in any way to the 9/11/01 attacks. I am sure Obama smoothed things out when he went over there, bowing to the Saudis kissing up to them again.
