Detroit's failings is 100% on the democrats who have run (?) the city for the last 50 years. Why blacks continue to vote for democrats has only one conclusion....liberal welfare and the vote.

Presidents run the Federal Government economy. States run their State economy.
City Mayors run their City economies.
Mayors run and manage the individual cities, not the State Legislators.
Detroit has had Democrat Mayors running their City economy since 1962 to the present day.
Democrats and Democrats only, for 51 years of mismanagement and corruption, ran that city into bankruptcy.
Plus the stupidity of the citizens who kept electing Democrats.

Ummm.. apparently the fact that Detroit is run from Detroit City Hall and not from Lansing has escaped somebody's notice. Might as well blame the city government of Windsor for the mess, after all they're a lot closer to Detroit than Lansing is.
