You do realize the governor only runs the state not each individual city? He can't make the city follow sane policies.

You do realize the President runs the federal government and not each individual state, right? He can't keep Republican governors from increasing unemployment, yet you keep blaming Obama for the high unemployment rate.

Federal Government is different from Sate Governments.
Presidents run the Federal Government economy. States run their State economy.
City Mayors run their City economies.
Mayors run and manage the individual cities, not the State Legislators.
Detroit has had Democrat Mayors running their City economy since 1962 to the present day.
Democrats and Democrats only, for 51 years of mismanagement and corruption, ran that city into bankruptcy.
Plus the stupidity of the citizens who kept electing Democrats.

When FL Gov. Rick Scott laid off thousands of State workers, it increased the national unemployment rate, as it did when it was Scott Walker, Rick Perry, Jon Kasich, and all the rest of them.

That's right, no more white people in Detroit. They all got jobs in Mexico.

The lost jobs in the auto industry was not the only thing that happened. It was a combination of many things.
If they had encouraged more businesses to move to the area and not let the unions run the city, then when the auto industry went south there would have been plenty of other jobs for the people. Putting your eggs in one basket is never a good idea.

No one is celebrating the fall of Detroit. Nor any other City that has had to file bankruptcy.
Most of us are saddened, that all of the beautiful old buildings have gone to ruins. Were are also saddened that many of the people had to burn their homes down to get Insurance money for them to get out of there.

Detroit is not 100% Black. Mostly Black but not 100% Black.
