James Earl Jones, the revered actor who voiced Star Wars villain Darth Vader, starred in Field of Dreams and many other films and Broadway shows and is an EGOT winner, died this morning at his home in Dutchess County, NY. He was 93.

Very sad. He will be missed.
 
On You Tube he has videos of his reading of the entire Christian Bible. It is one of my favorite performances by him and as the Snake Death Cult villian'' Tulsa Doom'' in the original Conan The Barbarian movie along with the voice of Darth Vader.

Not many around with his level of talent in the business anymore.

BUMMER! Just the other week, I saw him on The Big Bang Theory where Sheldon Cooper ran into him, they became friends, then spent the rest of the day running around partying, eating ice cream, going to the amusement part, and terrorizing Carrie Fisher. :mm:

RIP James.

 
Nobody could have played Mufasa other than him. RIP to a Hollywood king of the past.
