The RNC believes the GOP must change to attract voters that have moved to the democrats. That would mean turning their backs on all of the principles the Republican Party stands for. The faithful conservatives that call themselves Republicans would have nowhere to go but the Tea Party. The party leaders should listen to Rush Limbaugh if they want the GOP to win elections in the future.

Why on earth would any body think that, I mean the Maobama Pravda media has been repeating it for more than 6 freaking years now. At this point the only way to beat the dems is start playing by their rules. Which means sponsor boycotts of biased media outlets, their bottom line is more important to them than ideology, but to do that we have to become as well organized as they are. Playing nice will no longer work going forward.

I've got news for the GOP, there is a thing known as the internet, and we can fact check what the various representatives have done.

The voters will come to their senses by 2014 just like they did in 2000 and 2004 and 2010. Once they realize that Obama's socialism and the welfare leeches are killing our country. By 2016 the conservative values of the GOP will be welcomed with open arms by the voters who will be sick and tired of the recession the democrats kept going for 8 years.

Actually, the GOP needs to stand up to Limbaugh and his ilk.

The thing is, Limbaugh's business model is not to get Republicans elected. It's to get an audience by appealling to their prejudices and fears and anger. In fact, Republicans getting elected actually HURTS Limbaugh's business model, because instead of complaining about those evil Democrats, he has to defend Republican mismangagement.

Republicans have several problems and simply rebranding isn't the issue.

They have a branding problem- thanks to Mitt "I likes to fire people" Romney and Todd "legitmate rape" Akin and Rush "Slut" Limbaugh.

But they also have a demagraphic problem. They've lost minorities and they've lost women. Because there isn't a Hispanic woman out there who is going to listen to your interesting ideas about taxes after you've told her you want her to "Self-Deport" and have her potential rapist's baby.
