Royal Brunei Airlines celebrated a milestone recently when their first all-female crew flew from Brunei to Jeddah in Saudia Arabia.

Although the all-female flight is a huge achievement, it has highlighted the fact that the women touched down in a country where females are not permitted to drive.

According to The Independent, the flight was undertaken to mark Brunei's National Day, a holiday which celebrates the country's independence, on 23 February.
