New GOP debt-limit demands: Ban late-term abortion and approve Keystone pipeline? - The Washington Post

No big surprise that incompetent and impotent, alcoholic, chain-smoking golf pro, Boehner has lost control of his "hell no" faction.
The good news: This time around, most GOP lawmakers agree they probably should not block a debt-limit increase, halt Treasury borrowing and let the government default on its obligations. According to GOP aides who attended the meeting, the “hell no” caucus appears to be radically diminished.

Are we supposed to be impressed that they have decided not to trash the US credit rating even more than they already have?

The bad news for President Obama: Republicans will demand some kind of prize for [DOING THEIR JOB] voting to raise the debt limit, preferably some policy that serves to reduce the debt. They say they will not simply roll over again, as they did in January when they voted without much fuss to suspend enforcement of the debt limit through this weekend.

Thanks to Obama, the debt is below $One Trillion Dollars, we see more jobs every single month, the Dow is sky high and our economy is coming back. If the Rs can, they will stop all of that and put us back into the Bush downward spiral.

its called politics. You version involves anyone not agreeing with you or your Obamagod knuckling under without so much as a whimper.

Why do you hate the political process?

After the Gosnell verdict and the Infant Born Alive Protection Act, late term abortions are going to be a thing of the past unless the circumstances are truly dire.

The Keystone pipeline should never have been opposed to begin with.

Americans need to vote more people like Obama into Office. If there was One Party rule, all these problems would go away.

Because it doesn't bend a Liberal's will. It never has, never will.

I'd like to know how Obama managed according to Luddly to drop the debt 15 trillion in just a few short months?

What did I miss?

Thanks to Obama, the debt is below $One Trillion Dollars

Meanwhile in the real world....

Why is the national debt $16 trillion?

National Debt Under Obama
Even though troops were withdrawn from Iraq in 2012, and Osama bin Laden was eliminated in 2011, Obama requested $851 billion for security spending in his FY 2013 budget -- more than in~his first year in office. Although Obama abandoned the phrase "War on Terror," he spent $602 billion -- almost asmuch as the $850 billion Bush spent in eight years.
