Running on empty: 70's music

I get so bored with 'whatever decade you are stuck in' musical range.
My latest musical playlist that I listen to when I'm in my car has Mongolian throat heavy metal music [The Hu], yelling at you music by a woman [In This Moment, OTEP], yell at you in general [old Mudvayne/Metallica], weird grunge style Saskatchewan bluegrass [The Dead South, my newest favorite band and Colter Wall], old 18 century weird banjo [Clifton Hicks], and just what the hell are you playing [according to my wife], Finnish heavy metal bluegrass [Steve n Seagulls] to really, really old blues [Bessie Smith, John Lee Hooker, Mance Lipscomb - attempting to read his book, The Memphis Jug Band who were all dead before your grandparents were born].

There is good music in every decade.

Don't get stuck

The Hu is awesome. So are The Dead South.

Since you like banjo, have you listened to Mean Mary? Great musician, great storyteller.

I believe this was written by Steven Van Zandt.

And I ain't no Communist and I ain't no Capitalist
And I ain't no Socialist and I ain't no Imperialist
And I ain't no Democrat I sure ain't no Republican
I only know one party and it is freedom

You aren't listening.

This is what I was listening to in the 70s.
