Satanists Cite Hobby Lobby For Exemption From Anti-Abortion Laws

The DOH!! echoing around USMB ultra-Cons is hilarious.

Damn, didn't think of that.

I think the O/P's point is that this may be the tip of the iceberg. But of course in this case the tip of the pitchfork.

A friend of mine who has spent 20+ years practicing civil rights law also thinks the Hobby Lobby decision was opening the gates to Hell, so to speak.

It was a narrowly constructed decision, again this is nothing but a publicity stunt for mouth breathers and oxygen thieves such as yourself.

A narrowly constructed decision that is going to be expanded by any corporation for whatever means they want based on their religious beliefs. And yet the right thinks Obama is ruining this country when it's actually the influence of a bunch of chanting, snake-handling fundie evangelicals...idiots, like you.

You mean the gates to Liberal Hell..

I think those gates are already open..

Washington DC is now a Constitutional Carry area.. The 9-11 Cross gets to stay ... Employers don't have to pay for abortions if it violates their religious beliefs .. Obama loses 9-0 in the SCotUS several times in a row...

Sounds like your gates of Hell are already open...

What you're too stupid to see is the way corporations will start twisting this to suit their other discriminatory practices, such as a person's race, religious and political beliefs.

The LDS Church has been breaking EOE laws for years. This just gives them more clout to discriminate. It's just another effort by the far right to beat down minorities, plain n' simple.

Satanists Cite Hobby Lobby For Exemption From Anti-Abortion Laws

:eusa_clap::eusa_clap: Well played Christian Conservatives, well played....:eusa_clap::eusa_clap:

The Satanic Temple has launched a campaign seeking religious exemption from laws that restrict access to abortions, citing the Supreme Court's Hobby Lobby ruling.

The group, which "facilitates the communication and mobilization of politically aware Satanists, secularists, and advocates for individual liberty," argues that states' "informed consent" laws violate its religious freedom.

"An increasing number of states have passed 'informed consent' laws, requiring that women seeking abortions be subjected to state-mandated informational materials that are often false or misleading," the group wrote on its website. "We believe that personal decisions should be made with reference to only the best available, scientifically valid information."

Lucien Graves, a spokesperson for the group, said that the Hobby Lobby ruling supports their initiative.

The SCOTUS opened this door and now they have to deal with the consequences. The Roberts court is building a track record of bad decisions for itself. Can't see that changing anytime soon unless there is another vacancy.

Maybe...Scalia and Thomas go on a conservative speaking engagement together -- private plane... stormy weather....

So your group is actually thinking this ruling does what exactly? It allows you to go opposite of birth control when in reality. HB actually paid for 16 of the 20 birth control options put on the table but you are going to court in order to use none of those 20 options but focus on just killing the child instead and you think this is a win?

The HB case actually give you every birth control option available other than the ones that kill a fetus. But you seem to want to kill a fetus as your main point of birth control. I'm not surprised by that, it's kind of what I would expect from satanists. Death in the most gruesome way possible is pretty much your religion.

Satanists aren't really known for being harbinger's of happiness or good deed's. But they sure are known for being the bringers of death, desperation and destruction.

What is it that makes you people not feel good about yourselves unless you are killing someone?

My gawd, who sits around and come up this kind of garbage

and then the op blames Christians for something, can you believe that?

this is what you get off talkingpoints memo folks...shun it if you don't want brain cells to die

unbelievable,

The "Satanic Temple" is a joke.

They have never culled anyone, or as a group committed any real organized crime, or carried out any terror operations.

They've got nothing on the O9A.

I'm curious why this is a debate when people that aren't Christian don't believe in Satin...

It's clearly a ploy to expose Christians saying they don't believe in Religious Freedom..........

And it's working like crazy.

Isn't Lucien Graves just a little too convenient a name for a Satanist? Didn't that set your B.S. radar a-tingle? The seriousness some of you are giving your replies suggest maybe you should crank up the sensitivity dial a whole lot.

Lucien Graves, a smart (and smart-assed} harvard educated researcher has a blog (THE PROCESS) here under his real name, Doug Mesner. The Blog"s heading says;

THE PROCESS IS…
The blog for Loki der Quaeler, Doug Mesner and William Morrison — it's where we air our dirty laundry, yak about whatever comes to mind, and of course...change the course of history!…

I have no doubt that you are correct, but it doesn't distract from the point of "Freedom of Religion"

AntiParty - It's clearly a ploy to expose Christians saying they don't believe in Religious Freedom

But then you can't be sure of anything when there's a jokester loose.
