The recent shooting of a man by a Charleston S.C. police officer shows that the criminal justice system works. Police do not cover for their own when they are potentially in the wrong. This man was immediately charged with murder and fired. This never happened in Ferguson Mo. because officer Wilson was innocent (even though liberal media and bullshit protesters have ruined an honest mans life) and the police chief refused to jump to conclusions despite the efforts of Al Sharpton and the federal Justice Department. THE SYSTEM WORKS AND IS UNBIASED.

Without the video, the guy would walk and the police department would fully stand behind him.

Which system?? Is unbiased??? Fallacy ,,,over load!
In your framed and close minded view. But you have been altered by your liberal college prof's to think like its the 1960's all over again. It's 2015. Get with the program Mr. "I see victims everywhere."

I hate to agree, but you are probably right. From what we saw he was moving the Tazer to make it look like the guy had it on him. So the coverup was starting, and if we didn't have the video it would be "cop said, dead guy... oh wait, never mind"

That brings me back to what I've been saying when something like this happens. Police should wear cameras. It would vindicate the good cops, and deter the bad cops from being bad cops. And that would be a good thing for everybody.

So you are saying that police are random killers? They would not blindly stand behind him. There would be an investigation and if if the 4 elements for the use of deadly force were not met, he would still be charged. Our police are professionals. Liberals are trying to use "police bias" as cover for the large number of Blacks in prison. They are there because they committed a crime. That's the larger political issue at play here and it is sad because the real social factors (single parent homes, welfare) are not being addressed.

That department actually has allocated money for cameras, and were in the process of procuring them.

Well this guy was a random killer, and it is human nature to protect "Us" from "Them". The problem is Cops have trended towards thinking anyone who isn't a cop is "them." The case in SI with the guy getting choked over a fucking loosie is case in point.

That being said the Ferguson shoot looks like it was legit, but due to all the other crap going on its still a point of discussion.

No Ferguson is not a "point for discussion" unless you want to talk about liberal terrorist descending on the city and burning down a section of the business district and shooting cops. The guy with the "loosie" would be alive if he had a job. Instead he had six kids on welfare and he too was on welfare, thus New York needs all the tax dollars it can get to pay for welfare and the police have to enforce ridiculous tax laws on loose cigarettes.

This isnt about Sharpton silly ass. If the cop wasnt on video he would've walked. I'm tired of people applauding this cop being locked up when he was caught on camera shooting someone in the back and we're supposed to pretend that jailing him is an extraordinary example of the effectiveness of the system.

Before the video he had the same ol script every officer gives "fear for my life" and had support.

Closed caption = closed minded. System works and cop's protect and serve ever single day.

So your response is name calling followed by changing the subject?

Thanks

"I" think it is not an issue anymore, however both the media and the people in the area have not been convinced yet (i know some of them don't want to be convinced.

The South Carolina Shooting is PROOF that ALL Police Activities should be filmed by Police Body cams AND Local Citizen cameras.

EXCELLENT post.

Yes...the system works. If theres evidence AND probable cause...they get arrested.

This cop was dirty. Some are. Do dirty cops try to cover their acts? Yes...just like all criminals do.

System isnt pretty. But it works.
