Because they were duped into believing Communist propaganda about how a marketplace functions, Progressives have very strange and bizarre notions about how the marketplace works.

In a Progressive restaurant, well dressed, affluent customers would be greeted with disdain and loathing because their success clearly came at the expense of the less fortunate who are trapped into working at the Progressive restaurant. "I hope you choke to death on your meal and your estate gets taxed 100%, you fucking 1%'er " is a standard Maitre d greeting at every Progressive establishment

Preparation of the meals would have to follow the Michelle Obama Meal Protocols and take hours, even days for the Union Cooks to prepare. The cooks are paid by the hour no matter how well or poorly sales were, so there is actually a disincentive for them to prepare a meal quickly. Because the preparation of a meal is so critical to the economy, Subsection 3 of the Prevailing Wage rules are invoked and 3 supervisors must oversee the actions of every cook.

In an effort to maximize profits the Progressive restaurateur believes he should serve yesterday leftovers and trash because that's the cheapest product he can procure; his Communist educators taught him that's the real basis of the American marketplace economy. However, pursuant to Chapter 17, Section 6.D.ii.e of the Michelle Obama Meal Component Guidelines, the weight, portion size, texture, smell and color (must be a diversity of meal colors) of the food prepared at the Progressive Restaurant are strictly controlled and can only be procured from the nations only approved food supplier, Chicago based Amabo Foods, Inc. where Barack and Michelle are the sole shareholders.

A middle class person at the restaurant would have to pay market prices for the meal, a poor person would get a Meal Subsidy allowing the Progressive Restaurateur to jack the prices up to the maximum Michelle Obama Meal Price Schedules.

Then you wonder why Progressive economies fail from Detroit to the former USSR

Haha. That's GREAT. Sums it up in a nutshell. I've been to some lib eateries though and they do function on a different wavelength. Like your purpose there is for their benefit. Service is typically lousy, waitress is often cute, goes by the name of Snowflower or something and waiting for her to orbit back around your direction is like waiting for Venus to swing by.

They charge for their food and drinks though, no problem maxing out the price of goods when it's coming their way.

exactly the bottom line is liberals lack the IQ to understand how capitalislm works.
