And that's an attack on Miranda in that there's less incentive for police to adhere to existing practice that protect Americans who are innocent until proven guilty.SCOTUS did not change Miranda in the slightest. They just ruled that people who are not afforded their Miranda rights have no ability to sue for monetary gain. The rights guaranteed by Miranda are unchanged. If an accused is not afforded Miranda, he is set free or at the very least, that evidence is disallowed.
This too is noteworthy as just another reason why America has declined to 58th. on freedom! The slippery slope that's leading to fascism in America. It's no coincidence that it's being championed by the extreme right!
