Isn't there considerable risk calling in the National Guard in this situation? After all, the Proud Boys and other Nazi militiamen are there to do their part assuring the impeached president trump remains in the White House.

While an overwhelming majority of minority members in the Guard can be trusted to honor their oath to protect the United States Constitution, most white members will likely feel their loyalty belongs with their cheeto-in-chief.

These white guardsmen could very well join the Proud Boys' fight. A simple look at the number of congressional Republicans eager to spit on the Constitution is proof the white guardsmen could turn traitor as well.
