Several NYPD officers burned in chemical attack; Thug shot dead

NYPD Officers Burned, Crime Spree Suspect Shot | Officer.com

Several NYPD offices were burned in a chemical attack when they tried to arrest a white trash thug who was wanted for slashing women with a knife.

Wow America is really getting so awesome.

Glad some newer and better cops are being retrained to handle it.
I think an expedient response to the increasing number of these screwball outbursts and the impending menace of hostile "amnesty seekers" would be less restrictive issuance of CCW permits to citizens with acceptable backgrounds who are willing to undergo appropriate training.

I'm sure Dems will find some way to defend the attacker.

Calling it a chemical attack is ridiculous spin. The guy threw a Molotov cocktail at the cops. Nothing more.

Nothing is a tragic as how pathetic your avatar is.

Who uses a shirtless selfie of themselves in a Glamour Shot pose as their avatar?? Bro...you're close to George Costanza couch pose status.

And who's that dude with his fingers in your mouth? It's s selfie and you had to use your right hand to take it....and that's a right hand in yo mouth. Gross. And weird.

Interesting story though....wow.

So they are arresting the sheriff for having too many inmates (how can he control how many people commit crimes) and for medical negligence.

Which makes me wonder....when are we going to arrests the doctors who recklessly kill 50,000 people a year from negligence, sloppiness or indifference????

Why should they? Dead men tell no tales. He has already been tried, convicted and sentenced to death without benefit of due process.
Just because the cops say he did something doesn't make it true. Was the whole incident recorded for posterity? That would erase any suspicions I might have. After all, the dead man can't tell his side of the story!

Ah. So....if a suspect is trying to murder a cop....for the sake of due process the cops should NEVER use lethal force to defend themselves?

Please...inform us how cops can do this. If they are being shot at or stabbed or having a moltov cocktail or chenical thrown on them....how can they make that arrest without using lethal force?

As I predicted....didn't take 2 full pages before a liberal is defending the attacker.

If a cop is attacked in the manner you say, of course he has the right to defend him/herself. But the public can never know for sure if the chain of events that preceded the death of the suspect transpired as the cops say they did. That is, unless a body cam or cell phone video from a disinterested party surfaces to back the cops claim. We have seen too many instances where cops have tampered with evidence or killed someone without knowing the affair was video taped, only to have their lies uncovered after the media gets ahold of it.

Without body cam or video evidence every shooting by cops is suspicious. I just do not trust them.

Ah of course. That dozen or so incidents means all 1,000,000 cops in America do the same thing right? Sigh....not this shit again.

I am not a liberal. I am a Constitutionalist. And I am NOT defending the attacker. I am not even saying the police in this case were wrong. I am just not so cavalier about the shooting of anyone at the hands of cops without video evidence. If the cops did what they had to do to survive, I am ok with that. But I do reserve the right to be suspicious when the events are not recorded.

Kinda makes me wonder if there could be the potential for a neighbor in my community who could have a similar episode if off their meds. I also wonder what type of med keeps people like that guy from snapping and going berserk?
