I haven't read any articles but I heard on local radio this morning he was busted making a drug deal with an undercover FBI agent and then became an informant to keep from going to jail. The mob dealt drugs in the streets Sharpton controlled. He was instrumental in sending big boppers in the Genovese crime family to jail. Court records show that he was CI#7 (Confidential Informant #7)
