You do realize that the problem that the VA was made much worse when W decided to start two wars at the same time. The VA hospitals are being inundated with the injured from Iraq and Afghanistan. They are unable to keep up with the numbers coming in.

Unless some report tied Shinseki to the behavior of his staff or he was grossly incompetent (Neither which I think is the case), this was a mistake on the part of the Obama administration.

And if the past is any indication, it's going to be at least 6 months before there is another VA chief and Issa will probably gum up the works with another investigation.

Obama said since our troops volunteered to serve they should pay their own insurance for injuries due to their service. Then a little later said he would fix the va. I'm sure obama has his hand in this. He hates our great veteran's.
