Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton may be handily leading the Democratic field, but according to the latest CNN/ORC poll released Wednesday morning, real estate mogul Donald Trump is catching up in a potential general election matchup.

The former reality star polled within 6 points of the former secretary of state at 45 percent to Clinton's 51 percent in a head-to-head match-up.
