Is it right for a politician to pander for the religious vote by saying things they want to hear like
"I'm about family values."
"I'm a Christian."
and/or
"I believe America is a Christian nation."
There are many other things that politicians say that pander to the religious vote, but those were the top three things that came to mind.
Should politicians be running on those things, or is that going past the water's edge?
