Actually they should get bigger breaks. We can concede that all religions should be considered to be doing "God's Work". But the conservative ones are also doing AMERICA'S work.

Wow the "southern poverty law center doesn't seem as tolerant of guaranteed 1st Amendment religious institutions as they are of left wing propaganda sources. No surprises here.Think about this one. Thanks to John McCain's poorly written "campaign finance law" we have left wing propaganda sources like Media Matters which are tax exempt. Think about it, the 250 year old 1st Amendment guarantees freedom of religion but the ten year old Campaign reform guarantees that (mostly left wing) political propaganda is tax exempt. Media Matters masthead claims that they are in the business of "only" monitoring conservative speech. The point is that you need to look at political propaganda before you start attacking the the religious freedom inherent in the 1st Amendment.

That's a common assertion, but there's a difference between someone who admits there is no way of knowing if there is a "beyond" or not and someone who flat out says there is not god(s), beyond or afterlife. You have confused business with churches. Churches don't do business with the general public.I don't understand why any church gets a tax break
Because the government gets to tell them what they can and cannot say. A church could not endorse a political candidate or speak out on social issues. A church may refuse to perform same sex ceremonies but may not condemn homosexuality.
They can condemn homosexuality all they want. They just can't treat them unfairly when they are doing business with the general pubic.

The crazies want Chip and Joanna Gaines punished for what their church believes. That's truly insane. The left wants to control who goes to what church people go to.
It's a Good Life
On an isolated family farm, a young boy with vast mental powers, but lacking emotional development, holds his terrified family in thrall to his every juvenile wish.
Director:
James Sheldon
Writers:

In a small farming community in Ohio, a young boy by the name of Anthony Fremont terrorizes those around him. Anthony has the ability to command anything he wants simply by thought. The community is cut off from the outside world and the boy insists that those around him think only pleasant thoughts, and if they don't, he eliminates them. Everyone walks in fear of the lad who ably demonstrates what he's prepared to do at a small party in his home. Written by garykmcd
I don't understand why they can't be political and keep the tax break when any left wing group can.I don't understand why any church gets a tax break
I can see why you wanted to keep it hidden:
The story is fiction, but it applies to the modern left in a very real way. Look at Berkeley, they're not even letting conservatives give speeches there. The crazies want Chip and Joanna Gaines punished for what their church believes. That's truly insane. The left wants to control who goes to what church people go to.

You would have no way of knowing this but that's a fictional story.
Yes, really.
