They're not being enforced. It is a violation of the law for anyone to overstay their visas or work permits - not enforced. It is a violation of the law for anyone to enter the united states unless on a visa or work permit or approved visit such as for college or visiting relatives, etc. - not enforced. The strongest gun laws are in those cities where the murders are the highest.
