No. My kids middle school and highschool has at least 3 county sheriff's present and armed on campus at all times. Has for years.
These folks don't want trained law enforcement though. They want volunteer yahoos with guns combing the campus looking for a reason to shoot. Or at least, that's the impression they give.

It took 500 plus for the Obama Admin to take notice and that was only because the young black girl shot had performed in DC at Inaugratuon 2 weeks earlier...hard to ignore that one.

A lot of crime is thug on thug crime, but the innocent are also killed in those shoot outs. I think the Aurora and Sandy Hook type crimes will become more common.

NO MATTER WHAT SCHOOL a tragedy like this would have received the same amount of reporting. It is what the media does, they would love nothing better then to have a white person shoot up a predominately black school but they ghoulishly would settle for a black doing it.

Blacks killing their black children is horrible, it is terrible, it is a shame, it is REPORTED every day. But blacks do it so damn often people become immune. IF some moron went into ANY school and did the same as was done Sandy Hook it would be reported. I would say if it were a predominately black school it might get reported even more. The bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church was a turning point in civil rights movement and was WELL reported. Who in the hell hasn't heard of Rosa Parks??? MLK is the ONLY man to have a holiday named after him. How about the time Obama said that the police acted "stupidly." When in fact they did not, was that reported?? What got more play, Reginald Denny getting beat up by black hoodlums or Rodney King? Do you even know who is Reginald Denny?

Well a couple of things here. First off gun control will not stop the negroes from killing each other because most of the murders committed by negroes, against whites and other negroes, are done with ILLEGALLY obtained firearms so no amount of "gun control" will stop this from happening. We have had a 100% ban on the possession, manufacture of, import of and transport of, heroin and cocaine for over 50yrs, yet both are readily and easily available to the criminal element in our society in EVERY town, city and suburb in our nation. So to think even a 100% ban on firearms will in any way lower the rates of black kids being killed, or people in general being killed by them, is a fallacy and a hope based on stupdity. With these facts in hand it's not surprising that Zimmerman didn't just "take his whooping like a man" and used his firearm to protect himself, the odds were on his side that it was more than an ass whooping he was getting.

Chicago is cited for its stringent gun control laws and prevalence of gun violence despite those laws. You are trying to bring Obama into it so Chicago can get a pass.
