You can arrange this to get the order. Chicago comes in as 16th in it's homicide rate of cities 250,000 or more. You are 3.62 times more likely to be murdered in New Orleans than in Chicago. I understand they have some kind of ridiculous law prohibiting the city from having tougher gun laws than the state. Louisiana leads the nation in it's homicide rate.
